alvin... need help

hey alvin. im working on a friends 90 camaro with the 350 TPI auto... i downloaded the TTS datamaster for his car.. so that i could watch all his sensor and parameters... the problem with the car is at lower RPM's or right as you start going if you get into the gas slightly.. it goes and stutters for a second and then takes off... it does it in all gears even reverse, and can quite figure it out... i have already replaced the FPR with a stock on.. cuz the problem was much worse before... before it was doing the same thing but actually stalling and when you went to WOT it would sputter and then pickup.. but im looking at the datamaster and on this one it actually gives AFR.. which i thought was wierd. but once it goes into closed loop, it says it is staying at a constant 14.73 AFR... is that normal??? and have you or anyone ever run into this type of problem... any help is appriciated.. its all stock, and i have noticed that his tach is off dramatically.. gets bigger with higher RPM's as well... any clue as to whats going on...

Its probably not actual AFR, it is probably the target AFR. I dont really know though. How is the fuel pressure since you changed the regulator? Sounds like a possible ignition problem.

true, i didnt think of that.... i havent had a chance to check pressure yet, but it only does it from the idle take off. you would think it would do it all the time if it was a fuel pressure problem... it runs strong once it gets going.. its just the initial take off..

Is the car modified in anyway?

not at all its completely stock with only 50XXX miles, its in great condition.. but i was hoping if it was a sensor failing that the datalog would catch it but its got no codes and nothing i can see out of the ordinary.. thanks
