I'm new to nitrous guys, I just had my PCM upgraded by Alvin for my T56 conversion.
Will I have to have a different tune to run nitrous? Or will my basic tune for NA be oK?
BARE with me because I'm new to nitrous, just a question I've been pondering.
thanks in advance guys

I am no expert, but I am sure he can make a chip to pull timing at higher RPM's. Either that or a Digital 6 Box. Or a LTCC conversion.

yea the MSD box is def. on my list
can you use the box to retard timing, I'd perfer not to have timing pulled perminatly for daily driving

for the tune.... does it affect N/A performance?
Considering I won't be spraying that often... I'd perfer not to lose HP by perminately retarding timing

well you could always get two chips done and jsut swap them when you hit the track

Yeah. The MSD has a built in dial.

With the Digital 6+ you can set it up to retard with nitrous. That way you don't have to get a new tune.

I also reccomend a digital 6 box. If i pull the itming out of the chip it will run worse NA.

This is exactly what I did when I was running a OEM PCM...worked like a champ. Alvin made both of them for me...

So... If I bought a MSD box would I still have to have 2 different chips?
