tuning my 94

I am getting ready to tune my 94 that now has the motor in it that my 93 had in it. (on in sig.) I bought a cable from akmcables and tuner cats. it all works i took some datalogs of my 93 just to make sure it worked. the question is, is this is my first car that i will be tuning i read the lt1 edit papers about what does what but cvan anyone give me any tips on what i need to do and get this thing running right. I thought about buying a base tune from pcmforless and tweaking it on my own but i am kinda short on $ thats why i put the motor out of the 93 in it for now while i finish up the motor that was in it (now a 406ci stroker with afr heads ported by advanced induction with a solid roller) haven't started on it yet but thats the plans.
