LT4 intake

In this month's issue of GM High-Tech Performance, there is a LT1 camaro with a wet 200 shot of nitrous, tuned by PCMforless. It says he has the stock LT1 heads but has a LT4 intake. Did he have a lot of machining done to make the two match up, or was it a misprint on one or the other? I was just curious because if I remember right, they don't match up without doing some machining due to higher runners on the LT4 intake.

that can be done very easily with an old set of gaskets and an air grinder.

He may have just had the intake powdercoated.. Or a misprint.. who knows.

I love GM hi-tech mag, but ut us Full of typos and i love how some stories cut off and seem to never be finished on any other page.

yeah, sometimes they tell all about the car, others they get started and just stop, I see a lot of cool paint schemes in there but half the time they never say what they are.
