Speed Density

If I have the computer flashed for the Speed Density will this hurt the performance of the engine. This is for a S-10 and a LT1. The MAF is still their but I would like to go to SD. But if it will take power away I will do Something else.

It is not going to affect power output. It's just a different way for the computer to make it's calculations. Think of it this way: The MAF is just an obstruction in the induction. Get rid of it.
