i just decided to do a WOT run on datamaster even though i havent gotten the new tranny yet (its bugging me, i have this software and want to use it)
well i decided to run it anyways down the road and take a look at my O2's, well first gear still seemed alittle jumpy, from like 770 to 956, and my LT counts never left 128 :D , then of course being the tranny is messed up i let up and push it into second gear and slammed it again (thank god tranny didnt blow :) ) and then i watched the second gear run, once again the LT counts never left 128, i had alittle knock retard at 5100 but was only like .4, and my O2's seem alittle more stable and in close range of each other, but they were anywhere from 860 to 955, all the way through second gear. and thats when i let up, but i was pretty happy with the way everything looked, but i noticed every once and awhile i got this Data Err message at the top it dings and lights it up red, i have stopped it in the replay and tried to click on it but it wont do or tell me anything. what does this mean?? and how do i check it

and also i wanted to know what some of you guys, if there is any, what Wide Band O2 systems are yall running and using and what works best.
thanks guys, i can post the run if i can figure out how, if you guys need me to

I think in PE mode(at WOT) it will always lock the LT counts at 128. I've seen that Data Err on a buddys car, but I'm not sure what it means.

Email the run to me and let me take a look at it. Sounds like the "Data ERR" is a temporary interrupt in the feed signal from the PCM or something.

You looking to do hand-held portable wide band or more of a permanant install in the car (like something with a 2 1/16 gauge)??

The Innovate LM-1 is an outstanding hand-held wide band, and I feel that top honors for the permanant install kind has to go to the Dynojet Wide Band Commander.

WOW!!! i really like that dynojet gauge, thats nice, and not as badly priced as i expected. $450 for the complete kit. thats a damn good deal. i have seen others that are alot more expensive. i will have to have that now, and its right there so you can monitor all the time and record to the laptop to watch later

Why not just put it on the dyno??
