i got my chip from pcmforless and for some reason with my 42lb delphi injectors in my car is running too rich and the car wont idle just dies unless i keep it reved at 2k rpm and the car hesitates alot.

I put my stock injectors in and it idles fine. Do i need to send my chip back to get it tuned again? or is there something else i need to do? Also is there any danger to my motor with using the stock injectors with my setup?

Have you tried scanning it? You need to find out what the IAC(Idle Air Count) counts are. The PCM uses a IAC motor on the bottom of the throttle body to control the Idle. It will let more or less air in depending on where the idle is compared to desired idle speed. If your IAC counts are maxed at 160, the PCM can not let in more air to compensate and the engine may die. You can adjust this by moving the throttle stop screw slightly to let a little more air in at idle. Or if you have an aftermarket throttle body, you may have to drill a larger IAC passage.

Any of that make sense to ya? If could be a tuning issue, but Alvin is usually dead on. Most of the problems like yours end up being something on your end. Does it do it all the time? or just in closed loop. Do you have heated O2's? I see you put Long tubes on. You O2's may not be able to get hot enough without heated O2's and you could pop in and out of closed loop mode.

I've already returned a email from you this morning.

Anyway, it sounds like you don't have the chip installed correctly. I must be installed with the stock chip plugged into the side of it.

Other than that, what injectors did you request on your ordersheet? whats your name for that matter so I can look you up.

The previous owner had a hypertech chip in it...would that be a problem? and that is not in either. I put down 42lb injectors on my ordersheet. I ordered this chip awhile ago i just never installed it because we just finished building the new motor. The name should be under Ali Mahmood or amina zahir.

Here are some install instructions. Typically 70% of people who buy chips from us have problems becasue they do not install it correctly.

Yes, without the stock chip it will be in limp home mode.
