Ok so i was reading GM tech mag and i saw a bunch of stuff about people tunning carbd. engines, this got me thinkgin about tunning our cars on the dyno. I understand that we have to get mailorder tunes and or burn our own chips. I guess what im asking is there anything that we can do tune wise on the dyno other then dataloging and then getting a chip burnd for our application? Like timming, A/F ratio, and other goodies?
Thanks Guys.

dyno tuning is really the best way to tune any car... and any dyno tuning place has all the software to do it... but alvin has gotten pretty damn close to dyno tunes just with his mail orders.... i will tell you the dyno tune is going to be alot more expensive...

Well I sell every chip as a best pick out of my library for your application. If you happen to get it and put int on the dyno and its a bit off I reburn them for free. I've got quite a nice library.. just last friday I did a 93 car local with a ZZ3 cam and supporting mods and I was only able to get 2 hp out of it over my base tune!
Thats not to say everyone of them is that close but I do make up for it with free reburns if the chip isn't right.

My base tune was very close with the mods I had a the time. When Alvin came out in May last year and dyno tuned the chicken, all I can say is damm this thing screams :drive:

Alvin has burnt chips for my car, 2 different cams and I can say he is damn near nats butt on. 93 396LT1 speed density, XE 230 cam and he has done my 396 with a Hot Cam.
One guy commented on how my XE 230/236 cam idled so calm, and it was the base tune. Fired right up and ran fine. When I went to the dyno and put down 425 corrected rear wheel HP.
