i've been on the dyno to have the motor tuned after the rebuild with the cc305 cam. can i get away with running the cc306 for a few weeks befor i can get tuned again without much trouble?

id say yes ive heard of people driving a couple hundred miles beofre getting a tune with the cc306 so id say you should be good since your alot closer than a stock tune

i figured i would be fine...the tune is a little rich right now for the cc305, so it might only come up a little lean on the cc306. i'm going to be in school, so it's not like i'm going to be racing it anytime soon, and definitly not befor it gets tuned

Yeah you should be halfway close with the 306... It definatley wouldn't do any harm.

a 306 on a 305 tune will be much more livable than a 306 on a stock tune.
Some of the biggest things are the timing tables to open the car up with the cam, pulling some fuel out of idle, and setting the idle a bit higher
All of which are done on some degree with a 305 tune

that's what i was hoping to hear. i know i've heard of some poeple running the 306 on a stock tune for a short time, and i know the tune for the 305 is a lot closer than stock, but i thought i would double check with the man that knew what he was talking about. thanks pcmforless
